The Super Fab Lab Kerala, located in Kochi, is among the largest digital fabrication facilities in India and a key part of the global Fab Lab network initiated by the MIT Center for Bits and Atoms. Serving as a central hub for innovation, prototyping, and research, it provides advanced tools for digital fabrication and product development.
The lab’s vision is to position Kerala as a global leader in digital fabrication and innovation, enabling technology-driven ideas to become practical solutions. In pursuit of this, the Super Fab Lab offers state-of-the-art infrastructure, supports systematic documentation for reproducibility, fosters research and cross-disciplinary innovation, and actively contributes to the global Fab Lab ecosystem.
Facilities
The lab is equipped with:
- CNC Routers and Milling Machines
- Laser Cutting Systems
- 3D Printing (FDM, SLA, SLS)
- Electronics and PCB Milling Stations
